Hopefully we get over the "Stay at Home" lock-down by summer and we can get back to our regular ride schedule.
Our next ride (after possible DV 350) will be the
July 18-19 Topaz 400. It will be the same as last year with 6 Loops (4 DS & 3
Adv) for you to choose 2 from. The Flyer will be on DualSportWest soon but you can see the Loops on last year's flyer.
Then it will be the
Sept 19-20 All New Mammoth 250. This one has 4 Dual Sport and 2 Adv bike Loops
to choose from. They range from mostly local single track to a Loop to Bodie to a Loop of several scenic views. The Flyer is only a Draft until Motel is confirmed.
Then the
Oct 24-25 Lone Pine Ride. The inaugural of this ride last year was our most popular
ride in several years. Because there were too many riders all bunched up riding thru the Alabama Hills camping area, this year you will ride thru the camping area late in the day. It will also be Mail entry only (no walk up entries), with a limit of 50 riders
on the North Loop each day (pick a day). Again Motel has not been confirmed so don't try to make reservation or enter until notified by another e-mail.
Another possible ride is the
Nov 7-8 China Lake 350 that starts/finishes in Ridgecrest with an over night in
Lone Pine. Let me know if you would be interested in this ride which I haven't done in many years.
Please mark your calendar and save these dates.
Happy Trails
