The Mount Pinos Rangers are organizing classes for those who would like to get a chainsaw certification that is required for doing trail maintenance in the National Forests using a chainsaw. There will be two classes, one for CPR/first-aid and the chainsaw certification class. A current CPR/first-aid card is required to take the chainsaw class. They need to know how many volunteers are interested so they can make preparations for the classes.
Please let me know as soon as you can if you are interested and which classes you need, CPR/first-aid, chainsaw new certification or chainsaw recert. If you have had a chainsaw certification before, then you only need to recert (still need the current CPR card to recert).
