Garmin Montana 610 sale $350

Looking at the info on GPS City, it looks like the only difference between it and the 610 is that it includes topo maps for the US, a camera and twice the internal memory. It costs $499.95, $150 more than the 610 for the next few days. Whether these extra features are worth it is up to you. I don't find the topo maps as useful as they could be, either on the GPS or the computer with the Basecamp program because the topo lines are too far apart to really tell what the terrain is like. However, the road locations are really accurate as far as I've found so far. I would never plan a trip on the GPS, only on Basecamp on the computer, then transfer the route/track to the GPS. I don't know if you can copy the built-in topo map to Basecamp from the GPS, but I do know if you buy the Topo separately, you can load it into Basecamp where you can do all your planning, and then copy the map, or portions of it, over into your GSP. The Topo map itself is $80 on a DVD.
Do you know anything about the Montana 680t model?
GPS City is selling the Montana 610 GPS for $350, $50 cheaper than you can get it on Amazon. Here's the direct link:

This is a great GPS for motorbiking - it has a large screen, can be easily seen in the sunlight, and has a touch screen that works great with gloves on. I have the 600, the previous model.

They also have RAM mounts on sale for 20% off with the coupon code SPRING17.
