Here's a picture of the rule breakers, Adam breaking the "social distance rules" and the rest not wearing their masks &/or helmets.

Ride with the wind and keep the rubber side down. This is good advice. I didn't necessarily follow it today! Good riding with you John, Adam, and Dwight.

It seems that the campout is only going to have Dwight, Adam & I and we promise to stay 10' away from you if anyone else wants to join us at the last minute. I've made a slight adjustment to the location, now we will be at Searles Station. Google link:

camp here on this general area

OK there hasn't been a lot of chatter or commitments although I completely understand the covid issue. Dwight and myself will be going out to our usual vcmc place off Stevens mine. We know there is a race off wagon wheel but we can stay away from the ribbon. It will be great to ride and get out of town for a couple days.

If you can make it out it would be great to see you. If not hopefully we will see you soon.

On second thought (should never do that), we are going to sit this one out. Wouldn't want to be the elephant in the overcrowded ER room on the off chance me or my kids get badly injured while dirtbiking. Looking forward to things getting back to normal soon!

Cougar Buttes rocks (pun intended)! But I think I have to take my daughter to the airport that weekendEmoji.

So if we have a D37 Hare & Hound going at Red Mountain during our campout weekend; what do you think about going out to Couger (not my spelling) Buttes in Lucerne Valley? (There are some old VCMC memories in those rocks!)

Id like to go 8-10th. Id bring my wife and kids. Wife sounds excited to tuck away and read a book all weekend. Id rent an RV and tow the 500 and the 2 mini bikes. Maybe we'll get lucky on weather.

I checked with the BLM Ridgecrest area and open riding and camping is available in Cuddeback and surrounding Ridgecrest areas. I asked specially for motorhomes and tent camping in non-developed sites, all are open.

And with what Jeremy said about the race we should definitely stay away from there but its a good sign that they are letting them race.

We were looking at the cuddeback area anyways.......what do you guys think? I think its a go!

The Check Chase H&H is staging at Charlie's Place on January 9&10. So maybe Spangler should be out or a different weekend should be chosen.

Sounds fun, where?

We are hoping to put together a vcmc camping weekend in the desert somewhere on the weekend of January 8-10, 2021 to bring in the new year! The location to be determined as the weekend gets closer and we see how COVID is affecting the different locations........

Feel free to post here both if you're interested in attending and any preference on location....... We will social distance and keep our helmets on since it will be cold and there will be alcohol to kill germs.
