August OHV camping/riding spot recommendation?
Noah Greer
Any ideas on places to stay in August that won't be blazing hot?

I'm having a bachelor party and I've got a group of about 10 dudes, including beginners, ideally camping somewhere with immediately-adjacent riding for non-plated bikes, ATCs. and buggies. If the weather were cooler, we'd just head off into the mojave desert.

We could also rent a cabin/house with A/C, or go somewhere like the Kern River so we can do some swimming.

Let me know if you've got any ideas! Thanks

If you don't mind pure sand, Oceano Dunes. Campground outside the state park. ATVs and buggies for rent.
Pismo Beach bars/clubs nearby
Lopez Lake nearby (Arroyo Grande)
